Job Description

As our Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing marketing campaigns and overseeing the creation and idstribution of marketing materials. 

About the role

The Marketing Manager is to initiate, produce and co-ordinate marketing material, strategies, and direction for the Resort, maximising sales, marketing, and promotional opportunities. This role is a hybrid role (two days working from home) and has the flexibility to work from either our Sydney location (Chatswood) or as a live off Island role in the Whitsundays.  

You will be responsible for: 

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with company objectives. 
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns, including email, social media and advertising. 

  • Identify and analyse market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly. 

  • Maximise potential marketing opportunities to secure maximum exposure for the Resort. 

  • Generate public relations stories and distribute to targeted and pre-determined media. 

  • Oversee, develop and co-ordinate marketing collaterals, illustrating creativity and initiative through print and electronic media, in-line with brand guidelines. 

  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively. 

  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies and apply them to our marketing efforts. 

  • Assist in the development of the annual business and marketing plan, monitoring the control of expenditure within budget, with regular reporting  

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

  • Qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field 

  • Previous experience in a marketing role with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, ideally in the hotel industry 

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

  • Design and copyrighting skills favourable
