Job Description
We are seeking a Reservations Agent for Daydream Island that will be working with our amazing Front Office team. This is a live off Island role commuting daily to Daydream Island. The key person for this role will be focused on ensuring our guests begin their special holiday experience at Daydream Island before they arrive at the resort.
About the job:
Process and input FIT reservations following resort reservations policy
Ensure all reservations are prioritised and accurately handled within a 24-hour period.
Research and process no shows, trace report, arrivals check and any other reservations operating procedures on a daily basis as directed by the Reservations Manager.
Ensure all outward correspondence complies with resort procedures, and any unusual correspondence is authorised by the Reservations Manager or Revenue Manager.
Adhere to rates published in the Rate Manual or rate advertisements. Exceptions to the published rates must be made through approval by the Reservations Manager or the Revenue Manager.
Maintain an efficient administration system, including record keeping, filing and guest history Follow property procedures with respect to grooming, performance and conduct standards, occupational health and safety, emergency procedures and all other property policies and procedures as detailed in the employee handbook / department procedure manual.
Assist the Sales & Marketing team with additional tasks where required in line with business demands
