Job Description
The Business Development Manager for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and groups is pivotal in identifying, nurturing, and converting potential leads into successful events. This role demands a proactive approach in cultivating relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals seeking exceptional venues. You will leverage market insights, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to expand the organisation's footprint in the MICE market.
Implement an effective lead management system, with prompt, professional follow-up on all enquiries, received through the website, third-party platforms, and other channels to optimise conversion rates.
Maintain and update Salesforce for accurate pipeline management.
Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate contracts to secure business, ensuring compliance with resort policies.
Establish and grow relationships with agencies, corporate clients and event planners through networking and industry events.
Conduct market research and monitor consumer trends to shape effective sales and marketing campaigns. .
Monitor performance of sales initiatives and adjust strategies to meet targets.
Liaise closely with internal departments (e.g., event planning, Food & Beverage, Front Office) to guarantee seamless execution of events.
