Job Description
As the Food & Beverage Manager at Daydream Island Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional service delivery of our food and beverage outlets.
About the Role
Oversee daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, staff canteen and events
Develop and implement stratagies to enhance the guest dining experience and drive service excellence
Manage inventory, ordering and cost controls to meet financial and operational targets.
Recruit, train and mentor food and beverage team members to deliver consistent high quality service
Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with other department heads to plan and execute events, promotions and special functions
Analyse financial performance to inform decisions that support profitability and guest satisfaction
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar role
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations
Inspirational leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality
Sound understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control
Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
