About the Job:

Daydream Island Resort is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage Attendant at Daydream Island. As part of the Food & Beverage department, this part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the exceptional dining experience we provide for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality customer service by attending to guests' needs in a prompt and friendly manner
• Prepare dining areas for service, including setting up tables and ensuring cleanliness and tidiness
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when required
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring presentation and quality are maintained
• Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system with precision
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any special dietary considerations
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service delivery during busy periods
• Assist with stock management and inventory control as directed by management

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry would be advantageous.
